Facebook Places

I already hate Facebook Tag. Usually, if someone tag me, I just remove it myself.

Can't stand the constant update by others, and most of the time, it about selling a product.

Now Facebook has these Places (only in US now). Maybe its time to drop Facebook?

Real Life iPad wedding

A guy did proposed to his girlfriend using social media.
And the logical conclusion: A cartoon, using iPad for the wedding.
Then it happened in real life?
Katie and Aaron were recently married, and the officiant did the entire service from his iPad.
They read their vows from iPad, after having copied them to the device from paper and ink versions.
I don't know what to say.

The Visualization of Violence

Wikileaks recently released 91,000 documents that track events including friendly fire and civilian injuries and death over the course of the last six years. Have you seen the documents? World's largest artwork

Jim Denevan has created the World’s largest artwork and showcases his art skill on a lake in Siberia.

In pursuit of the impermanent. From the vanishing curl of a wave to sand briefly stilled between tides, nature's fleeting moments are his stock-in-trade. The frozen surface of Siberia's Lake Baikal presented a shifting, snow-blanketed canvas for Denevan's specific brand of art: massive geometrical patterns carved into the earth, ever vulnerable to the elements.
These images document Denevan's quest to create history's largest work of art, while also illuminating the simple, arresting beauty of the natural world that he so keenly reveres.

Online Journal

Do you keep a diary or journal? Chances are if you do, it will be written on a paper-based notebook or diary. The analog journals are not safe. Others might get a chance to peek or steal it. Thus exposing your deep innermost thoughts to everyone. At best it could be embarrassing, at worse, I leave it to your imagination. Furthermore these notes can be lost, or damaged or rendered unreadable. How do you keep your writing private?... continue reading at Journeyman Journeys

Internet more dangerous than an atomic bomb

Remember John Cougar Mellancamp?
I think the Internet is the most dangerous thing invented since the atomic bomb," he said. "It's "destroyed the music business. It's going to destroy the movie business." Source: Reuters.
The atomic bomb? Really? I didn't know that I can destroy a city using the internet.

Of course he just released a new album: No better that this.

How else can he get noticed?

You just need one to start

Julian Assange. Founder of Wikileaks. We need people like him. Governments should be afraid of its citizens not the other way round. This just shows that the so called "war on terrorism" was based on lies and subterfuge. All acts of terrorism are from the governments. Don't believe it? Just ask the Native Americans. What do you think of Julian Assange? Hero or Villain? Related... continue reading at Journeyman Journeys
