About Rosli Mansor: 

Rosli Mansor's initial encounter with the guitar was when he laid hands on his brother's acoustic guitar as a 10-year-old boy. Coupled with him listening to the likes of the Carpenters, the Beatles, Deep Purple and Uriah Heep, he embarked on his musical journey since.

Juggling studies, part-time work, mastering the guitar and learning music in his early years, Rosli managed to overcome the initial difficulties and found several opportunities playing in various gigs at popular watering holes. He has worked with other talented musicians such as Ramli Sarip, Kick!, Flower Child, Trisno Ishak, Evelyn Tan, BojaVibe etc.

Rock music aside, Rosli is also proficient in jazz and pop music due to his extensive playing experience in the local circuit. He played alongside Danny Koh's Big Band and performed with the Swing Out Sisters at Harry's on weekends.

Rosli is an accomplished music composer and arranger and wrote tracks for local short films by Wee Li Lin (Norman On The Air, Autograph Book, Lunchtime), theatre works and recently. for websites and commercials, the latest being written for Nickelodeon and Nick Junior channels under Turntable Music.

Outside the performing world, Rosli teaches music at the mother of all music schools in Singapore, Yamaha Music School, and also as a private tutor.

Despite the performances and teaching, within him burns the unwavering and deep passion to produce his own instrumental rock album. Counting the likes of Jeff Beck, Allan Holdsworth and Scott Henderson as influences, Rosli embarked on a 2-year journey of creating this album, Dragged, from scratch.

January 2007 marked the fruit of his labour. His album launch, held at Earshot Cafe (The Arts House) on 27 January 2007, was met with overwhelming responses.

Once again, the infamous call of making BIG money is here. I don't know if it is universal, or just simply a challenge (problem) face by the Malays in Singapore. Though I do see it everywhere, even in US. I guess its  universal.

There we have images of purported "Bank Statements" or "Accounts" showing money credited and growing exponentially. Starts with $100, then $110, then $150 and suddenly, $1,500 then $15,000 after 6 months. I mean I could just get rich staring at my laptop daily.

I remember, a short while back, a friend approach me. To give you a brief background, he was from an insurance company in Singapore. The key word is once. When I met him, he has quit as an insurance adviser. I'm still at it, till today.

Excitedly he told me of an investment scheme that gives a fantastic rewards. Does "Swisscash" ring a bell? The scheme seemed to give guaranteed return, and at the end of the year, your money will have doubled. Something to that effect, if I can recall correctly.

Showed me his "internet bank statements" of his "investment growth" and said he has exercised his due diligence. How? By putting in his own money and tracking the growth and it showed.

Not again, I thought. I try to game him. Its always fun to do that.

"So how do you pay or put in the money?"

"Through Paypal, you have an account right, you are always good in IT", Ah, the flattery. Flattery gets you nowhere with me.

"How can they give such a high return? How do they do it?"

"Through investments!" he looked at me incredulously. "Why they can give you high returns is because they operate on the web (images of TRON appears in my mind), no office rental to pay, so you can reap better profits" How magnanimous of them.

I followed with a look of bewilderment. That hooked him.

"Let me show you the website," He switched on his laptop and went online:

Through the magic of web archiver, this is Swisscash. Looks professional isn't it.

"I thought you said they don't have an office? Why are they in an office setting?"

"This is just for show only" The irony of words. He didn't catch it. At this point I was just getting bored with it and simply had to end the meeting. All in all it was a full-bore scam.

True enough a couple of months, the "company" disappeared together with the monies. Just for those who still thinks Swisscash is legitimate click here.

How do you know that it can be a scam? If its too good to be true, then it is. Do your research throughly. You have the Internet at your fingertips,  use it, instead of just playing social games.

And now we have the same thing here on Facebook.

When will we ever going to learn that riches comes from passionate hard work, not just simply paying a certain amount, then hopefully it will sell by itself to another and another, and another.

You just got to put in the effort my friends and the service or product really adds value to the other person. Basic rule of sales 101.

Nadia Fazlini

A few days ago, a friend called and asked me about Nadia Fazlini.

"Who's she?", I hardly watch TV and Suria is off my radar totally.

"The Suria actress! There is a sex tape on her!"

"Ok"

That pique my interest. Went over to IMDd site, searched for "Nadia Fazlini"

Whoa her STARmeter is 5,931%!!!!. She acted in "Anak Metropolitan" back in 2002 and its MOVIEmeter is 1,140%.

I have got to watch Suria. It seemed that the shows are of an exceptional quality and its stars are out of this world.

My friend said there is a sex tape of her online. She knows that I'm quite savvy in getting it and we both did a search. In a couple of minutes, I've got her pictures in full "blow" glory. (Nope I'm not going to post it here. And don't ask for the link). I particularly do not like explicit pictures. Another couple of minutes, the video in flash format (Again no links here and I will not give it to you). Another couple of minutes, got the free download (No, no, no and no).

I guess a description would be ok. The location seemed to be in a hotel room. A news radio program in Malay was playing. Sounds like its in Malaysia. Was she forced or unwilling? Nope, she was willing and seemed to be posing for the camera. Quite a clear footage lasting about 4 minutes. Started with a blow and ended with a conventional entry. Its not back door. The boyfriend face wasn't even seen. 

My take: Its not her first time.

That's it.

This kind of videos are a dime a dozen. The only thing that propels it, would probably she was on a Singapore Government Media and a Malay. Then again there are a lot of Malay sex videos out there (again do not ask me how to find it).

I do not know what was going on her mind at that point of time. Does she really believe her boyfriend would not post the video? Did he post it because she married to another guy? A case of jilted lovers? Maybe it was stolen and somebody else posted it? Who knows?

Look, what we do in private stays that way. Don't even think of taking pictures or videos, boyfriends and girlfriends, wives and husband can change.

I guess she paid the price for being naive.

The Secret mission

The Secret mission

There was a village called Mayo. One day, the sun was covered by all the clouds and when they move away, it was frozen. There was no sunlight and the village got cold and slowly was frozen.
In the village, there was a boy, he was the chosen one, to do the secret mission. But he didn't know about it. Along came a soldier who was wounded in a war, He had a important message to tell. He found the boy and told him, "you are the chosen one to do the secret mission" and with that he died from his wounds.
The captain came and told him what to do. He said, "I will give you the power to get the sun back"
The boy needed to fly high and shoot the sun with the power given to him by the captain. "You must not let anybody else know what you are doing" The boy agreed. He got on a rocket to take him near the sun. When he is near the sun, he used the power and shoot at the sun. Slowly the sun became warmer and wasn't freezing.
He returned back and no one in his village knew what happened. They were just happy that it was not cold anymore and they lived happily.
