Thanks to the internet, the truth will be known. Was there intense fire at the site?

On Thursday February 12 2005 a fire broke out in the Windsor tower in Madrid, Spain. The fire was intense and burned for nearly 2 days.

800 Degrees Inferno

It illuminated Madrid at night.

With that kind of intense BBQ, you would expect the building to collapse as in the 911 twin tower which happened in earlier in 2001.

It didn't. It withstood the fire.
